As a businessman, Mark has designed, developed and marketed novel, unique and occasionally revolutionary products for which he has been granted international patents. During the past few years Mark became cognizant that cavitation was the key to successfully reducing drag on the hull of any planing or semi-displacement hull, and, as such, he proceeded to conceptualize a hull design which would accomplish this desired result. After reviewing this concept, now known as “Scaled-Hull,” with an MIT naval engineer, and, after a 30 day rudimentary analysis by the aforesaid engineer, he stated that the design elements were in keeping with Mark’s conceptualized vision. This substantiated Mark’s perception of the deficiencies of hull designs, past and present. The MIT engineer further stated this was an endeavor worthy of further pursuit. Today, “Scaled-Hull” we have aligned ourselves with some of the top naval engineering firms in the country as well as specialized technologies in order to move forward with this game-changing advancement in hull technology.
